    Vegan California Burrito and Horchata (Vegan). so yummy. bussin actually. it was really hot and burning my mouth but i still ate it really fast cause it was that good. . awesome view outside and i was people watching. a fun great time with yourself or w/ friends

    I had some of the best vegan nachos I've EVER had when I came here to Gordito Amigos while in the neighborhood. I appreciate that they have a separate vegan menu and even prepare the vegan items in a separate area to avoid contamination with animal products. The vegan nachos had the perfect amount of melted vegan cheese, guacamole, and vegan sour cream. I also got it with vegan carne asada which was pretty good. There were also mushrooms - not sure if that comes with the vegan nachos themselves or with the carne asada, but that made me EXTRA happy as I love mushrooms. And big plus: the chips managed to stay crunchy for the whole meal, which does not often happen. My family really seemed to enjoy their (non-vegan) items (tacos, burrito, quesadilla). I also had their horchata (which happens to be vegan) and it was quite delicious. I also like that you can order ahead of time on Snackpass. Will definitely do that next time I'm in the area, and I'll definitely be getting the vegan nachos again!

    It's not too bad the only thing is that it's very expensive for what it is. Yes the burrito is huge but does not adhere to the price. The place is spacious and plenty of seating. The way we order is a bid odd since first you go to the side and then pay on the initial way where one thinks we should order in the beginning. The wait time was okay. Staff members are nice and works their way to get you your food. I was the only one there so it felt that way. I ordered the vegan California burrito with vegan chicken and it is pretty good. I could recall seeing potatoes and the vegan chicken was substantial. It's big and tasty; there's a lot of flavour. The horchata was okay, it had too much cinnamon. But I wouldn't get it again. On the side I like to add hot sauces that I have at home and it was pretty bomb. Recommend if you are strictly vegan or even just vegetarian. You definitely have this option.
